The hotel is easy to reach on public transport.
By rail: From Locarno, take bus 316 (journey time: 20 minutes) to the "Brissago Municipio" stop (a request stop) and from there it is 2 minutes' walk to the Sunstar Hotel Brissago.
By boat: A nice alternative is to travel by boat on the "Locarno NLM" (journey time: from 55 to 80 min.) as far as the "Brissago NLM" landing stage and from there it is 2 minutes' walk to the Sunstar Hotel Brissago.
The Ticino Ticket gives you free travel on public transport. There are also discounts on the mountain railways, boat rides on the Swiss lakes and the main tourist attractions of Ticino. You will be given the Ticket when you arrive at the hotel. You are free to use the Ticket as soon as you have checked in, and it remains valid until midnight on your day of departure.

The Sunstar Hotel Brissago has limited free car parking places (subject to availability) and an indoor car park for which a supplement is payable (CHF 16.00/night). Reservations are essential for the indoor car park.
There is also public parking (blue zone, with parking disc) not far from the Sunstar Hotel Brissago.
On the day of arrival, your room is guaranteed to be ready for occupancy from 4 pm. In many cases, however, this is also possible before. You are welcome to arrive earlier, deposit your luggage and explore the surroundings with the Ticino Ticket.

We have a total of 4 charging stations for electric vehicles. Two charging stations are located in our underground garage and must be reserved in combination with a parking space in the garage. Two further charging stations are located in the outdoor parking lot and cannot be reserved. Charging is subject to a charge. A parking space in our garage costs CHF 16 per night and car.
The lake (Lake Maggiore) and the lakeside promenade are just a few metres away from the hotel. Our guests also have use of a private lakeside lounge area (a wooden platform measuring about 15 m2) with direct access to the lake.
