Mother-of-pearl is the pearly inner layer of the shell of the pearl oyster. This mineral part of the shell shines with rainbow colours and shimmers beautifully when it catches the light. So a magical transformation takes place inside a shell.
We see it as our job to add radiance to your palate. Like mother-of-pearl, our food consists of many precious elements that make every dish shimmer. Local Swiss produce and fresh regional ingredients really make the meals served in Caesar’s Restaurant shine – the ideal condiment, in fact.
Fresh herbs, and the courage to combine ingredients in new ways – these are the defining characteristics of our contemporary Italian cuisine. We serve just the right wine to accompany it, and create the perfect ambience around your favourite spot. Which, by the way, you choose for yourself! Serving your meal wherever you happen to fancy it – that’s our speciality.
How about a private dinner on the terrace outside your suite? Or a Chic-Nic by the lake as the sun goes down?
A sparkling aperitif by the pool or a glass of chilled white wine with a few Ticino tapas in the garden lounge – both equally delightful!
If you’d like to try out the ambience in the hotel’s brick-vaulted wine cellar, you can enjoy an “apericena” – the traditional Ticino grazing platter – surrounded by bottles of wine.
